SLAG SKIMMING MACHINES:

Our slag skimming machine has an up-to-date design and is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology. Each machine has a PLC system which is able to communicate with higher-level automation, further the system has options to control the ladle tilter, ladle transfer car, dedusting hood or ladle spout.

The modular design of our slag skimming machines enables our customers to integrate the unit into their existing structures. With our individual options there are nearly no limits for the user. There are a variety of mounting systems, for example floor or rail mounted, wheel based or roof mounted. We have already installed all of these systems in different plants. Our experienced engineers are able to design the machines in such a way that they match existing or newly constructed structures, we can also meet your special requirements.

DEBRICKING MACHINES:

Holtmann De-bricking- and demolition machinery is employed for the removal of slag and refractory material, e.g. from converters, electric furnaces, mixer cart mouths, hot metal- and steel ladles. The equipment has been especially purpose- designed and precisely adjusted to meet the high daily requirements of working in the cold- and hot sections of steelworks. The machinery supplied on the building- block system is available in a variety of dimensions. This will ensure that the optimum problem solution can be selected for customers, and to accommodate all sizes of furnace.

All Holtmann equipment can be employed in areas where, not only high temperatures prevail, but also where dust, falling objects and other negative influences impinge involving particular demands on the robustness of the material. All machinery parts are therefore perfectly protected against such hazards, encapsulated and/or shielded. Non-interruptible and safe working with Holtmann equipment is therefore at all times ensured- because no one can readily afford downturn times.

TAP HOLE DRILLING MACHINE:

The tap hole drilling and re-sleeving machine, Drilling and re-sleeving unit are positioned by hydraulic cylinders to reach an optimized position of the unit in front of the tap hole. An angle sensor helps to position the machine more precisely about the converter tilting angle.
